Cross-Breeding

Breeding new combinations at home is possible, but it is more art than science.

Roosters are easy to get access to, as they are often unwanted by farms. Only one is required on average per dozen birds.

Any breeds can mix, creating wild combinations. Store-bought birds have been genetically optimized for laying, but cross-breeds can lay all the same. They will often share personality traits with their parents!
